MHS CLASS OF 1969

Reunion" @ The Rock in Coal Valley, IL
(Include the picture that was in the newspaper.)

A big THANK YOU to everyone who attended the reunion.  It was great to see so many "old" familiar faces from so many parts of the country!  Some of our classmates haven't been back for forty years and they expressed their gratitude for the organization of the weekend of events, as did the regular attendees.
Thanks to The Rock for the nice big room and good food and drinks.
Thanks to Terry Newberry for the tunes from our era and to Corey Newberry for the help with computer applications and sign making.  They were a big help with the clean up at the end of the night.  Special thanks to Kaylee Newberry, who helped us old folks decorate.
Mary (Mortell) Brunstrom Meadows was instrumental in finding addresses for classmates, as was Debby (Sorrells) Jared.  The decorations were perfect for the fall season and were created by Mary and her daughter, Seeley.  George (the hippie) brought us "back in time".
Addressing postcards, manning the door, decorating the hall, cleaning up and arranging Saturday's events were greatly appreciated.  Thank you to Mary M, Pete M, Eugenia G, Marcia C, Kathy W, Jane O, Jim M, Debby J, Susie B and anyone else who helped make this event a success.  Paul Carther and Bill Burris were the answer to getting the tour of the high school in order.  The Riverhouse evening was made possible through the connection that Pete McDermott has with Dan Wittaker.  These people behind the scenes are very much appreciated!
Thank you to Peggy H, Erica H and Susie K for the girl's get-together.  It was a BLAST!  Barb A and Erica H led the music with voices of angels and a song dedicated to Krista K.  Simply fantastic!!!

THANK YOU, ALL!!!
